We take the security of our website and the privacy, and security of the data it may contain, very seriously indeed and we aim to protect both our servers and any data they may contain at all times.

Any data that we may collect or that you may submit through this website is stored in an encrypted format and this data will only ever be used for the purpose for which it was originally collected.

We have a seperate Cookie Policy which you may wish to view but this simply contains a sub-set of the information which is already contained with this privacy policy - as we simply do not use cookies, and this is why we do not have any annoying pop ups within our website...

It is our policy to only ever collect and store the minimum amount of data needed from our website users or our students, coaches or customers for any given purpose, and to make them aware of the fact that we are, or we will need to store any such data - and that you may request a copy of, or the deletion of any data that we may hold on you at any time.

Any payment which is made via this website will be processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe) and using their systems. No payment card information is ever processed or stored on VisualReadingOnline.com systems.

Please also note that Stripe transactions may appear to be paid to 'Outsider Software Limited' which is the parent company of VisualReadingOnline.com.

Our Website does not currently use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

We log all user visits to our website on our servers and we use this information to improve your browsing experience and analyse Website usage, our logs do not contain any personally identifiable information and simply log your browsers 'user agent' against which pages are visited and when.

8. Browser 'User Agent'

Your browsers 'user agent' is something that your browser sends to any website you are accessing and it simply contains information about which browser you are using and on what operating system and the size of the screen you are using to view content.

A website needs to know this so that it can send you correctly formatted webpages for you to view on your device. No personally identifiable information is ever sent or received during this process and as we are sure you can understand, it is useful for us to understand which browser or device our visitors are viewing our content from as this information enables us to provide you with a better service.

9. Payments made via our website

Currently most of our customers are referred to us via the DSA however we are looking to expand our services and reach more private individuals who could really benefit from our services.

Any payment that is made for our products or services via this website will be processed via Stripe and we will be sent a receipt from Stripe which will include your contact details.

We will use your contact details to arrange for the delivery of our products and/or services and this information will be stored securely, and will not be used for any other purpose.

We will never have access to your payment method details as we do not process or store your payment details on our systems, Stripe will process any payments made via this website.

10. Fraud Prevention

VisualReadingOnline.com will never ask you to send money or to donate to us or any other organisation or business using social media or via unsolicited emails. We do not run competitions or actively promote any competions or services of other organisation or individuals via any social media channels or email campaigns...

We are purely focused on helping people to learn to read more effectively.

11. Data Collection from Persons Under 18

No person under the age of 18 should enter their personal information into this website.

If a course or product or service is being purchased on behalf or a person under the age of 18 then a parent or legal guardian should enter their details and make a note within their website accounts profile to advise that the coaching or product is intended for use by a person under the age of 18 - and that they give their parental/guardian consent.

Progress reports on a student under the age of 18 may be shared with a parent, guardian or teacher provided we have the consent of all parties to do so.
